Austin Powers

Today we watched the opening to the movie, Austin Powers starring Tom Cruise HERE. The Convention used was Action and adventure. Combat and Conflict was included, Austin powers is in a really fast car and he is driving away from a helicopter who is shooting missiles at him. He stops in his car and he jumps over the helicopter and shoots the man flying the helicopter, the helicopter then crashes. Speed and Motion, as I said the cars were moving really quickly and there were a lot of different camera angles in the three minute opening sequence. There was also some jeopardy in it when Austin powers jumps over the helicopter, there is a danger that he might miss time his jump and then fall into the blades of the helicopter and die.
